Companies don’t usually see a profit within the first five years of business but the opposite can be said about White Water Agency. With the six year anniversary coming this May, an agency consisting of three driven females has a laundry list of accomplishments to be proud of.

Starting the company in May of 2010, President and Owner, Whitney Woznick (now Whitney Moerings), was still within the beginning stage of her career and had left her previous position with Allied Integrated Marketing in Miami, FL with a dream.

“Coming from a family background of entrepreneurs, I wanted to follow in their footsteps and be a successful business owner,” said Whitney Moerings, President of White Water Agency. “Even though the economy was plummeting into a downward spiral, I felt I understood the industry and wanted to see if this is was something I could do on my own.”

Once establishing a business plan and company name, it was time to search for clients to begin filling the brand new client roster. In June 2011, W2 Public Relations took off by signing multiple lifestyle and entertainment brands, beginning the journey that has been a part of this company’s ever-growing success.

Looking to expand business and the client roster in 2015, W2 Public Relations was re-established as the White Water Agency. “I felt as if we were so much more than just a PR agency… we offered a full-service experience to our clients ranging from social media and web design, to crisis management and press.” Within the first six months of the rebranding, White Water Agency held a handful of grand opening parties, conducted copious press interviews, received international news coverage for their international client, and had a client nominated for a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award.

What began as one woman wishing to expand the public relations industry and give back to the community, has quickly become a public relations powerhouse in South Florida that offers a fun and fast-paced work environment with clients across the world. We are very excited to be growing and succeeding each and every day and cannot wait to see what the next six years have in store!
